Snæfell — not to be confused with the glacier volcano Snæfellsjökull on the Snæfellsnes peninsula — is Iceland's highest free-standing mountain, rising to 1,833 metres above the Vatnajökull foothills in the east. Its glacier-capped summit soars above the surrounding East Highland plateau in solitary magnificence, visible from vast distances across the moorland. As a backlit lithophane, the mountain's dramatic vertical relief, long sweeping flanks and luminous snowfields produce one of the most beautiful plays of light in the collection.

Note on Material: Every roll of white filament has its own character - even the same "white" can vary slightly from batch to batch, ranging from a cool, bright white to a warmer ivory tone. If you would like several pieces to match exactly, order them together and they will be printed from the same roll.
Printed to order: Your lithophane is 3D printed on demand by Bjarni himself in Germany and shipped to you as soon as it is ready. A one-person workshop can take a few days longer than a big print farm - but your order is made with care, and it will get to you.
